ABOUT US

Angus Morton Butchers is a local family butchers located in Richmond North Yorkshire.

With over 40 years experience in the trade, all our meat and poultry are of the highest standard and born and raised in the UK.

We mature our beef for a minimum of 21 days, dry cure much of our bacon in our shop, make all our own sausage and burgers and offer all the traditional cuts.

BEEF

BEEF

All of our beef is guaranteed to be born and raised in the UK.

We hang our beef for a minimum of 21 days, often longer, especially the steak cuts.

So if you're looking for a midweek meal, weekend roast or something for a special occasion we will be able to help.

LAMB

Here at Angus Morton Butchers we buy all our Lambs from the local auction mart in Northallerton.

Our buyers are always on the lookout for the finest quality animals and we hang our Lambs for at least 10 days to guarantee tenderness and flavour.

CHICKEN

All chicken sold in our shop is Yorkshire born and bred, reared on their own farms and fed Yorkshire wheat.
We use only one supplier for all of our whole birds and cuts.
T Soanes Poultry, based in Driffield in East Yorkshire, are a family business with numerous awards and accreditations to their name.

PORK

PORK

We sell a delicious range of English Pork, some of which is Free Range.

We only use the finest gilts and will never sell boar Pork.

All the traditional cuts are available from chops through to joints.

Perfect for your Sunday roast or midweek meal.

BACON

BACON

All our bacon is guaranteed to come from pigs that are born and bred in the UK.

We stock all the traditional cuts of Bacon and Gammon.

We also stock several types of dry cured bacon produced in our shop using free range and rare breed pigs.

SAUSAGES

SAUSAGES

All the sausages we sell in the shop are produced on the premises.

We only use UK pork and natural casings for our sausages and can offer you over 12 different flavours.

We even do a Gluten Free version which we freeze immediately to avoid any risk of cross contamination.
